What is coworking?
Coworking is redefining the way we do work. The idea is simple: that independent professionals and those with workplace flexibility work better together than they do alone. Coworking answers the question that so many face when working from home: “Why isn’t this as fun as I thought it would be?” Beyond just creating better places to work, coworking spaces are built around the idea of community-building and sustainability. Coworking spaces agree to uphold the values set forth by those who developed the concept in the first place: collaboration, community, sustainability, openness, and accessibility.
Your passport around the world.
The programme is to allow members of different coworking locations access to participating locations around the world.
AltSpace was an inaugural member of the Coworking Visa programme that was started in 2008. At that time 17 locations in 4 countries worked tighter to allow members of one location to use the amenities of any of the other locations, free of charge. Since the launch of the programme a total of 76 locations have joined in a total of 18 countries. A member of any participating office can use the facilities of any other location to encourage community and collaboration of the world wide coworking movement.
